Regular Preventative Maintenance Visits
DCS can provide regular onsite support for a set amount of time per week or month. This frees Principals and teachers from spending valuable time supporting the IT infrastructure and leaves them available to do what they do best, educate our children.
Support is tailored to suit each individual education provider. Agreements can include a fixed price per month based on the number of devices, regardless of what needs to be done.
APPLE & WINDOWS
We support Apple and Windows devices and platforms, e.g. iPads, Apple Macs, Windows 7 and Windows 8. DCS also provides onsite support for the systems used to manage them, including Servers and any Cloud-based environments such as Google Apps For Education (GAFE), wireless networks including Ubiquiti & Ruckus, and switching network like Allied Telesis.
To free-up teachers and office/admin staff, we support schools and educational organisations, with onsite visits either adhoc or on a scheduled, regular basis.
DCS can manage any or all of your IT needs, including:
Regular onsite support at a fixed cost, for a set number of hours, e.g. 1-2 hours every few weeks – the hours can also be varied. DCS also provides support outside school hours, in school holidays, and remotely.

Wireless Broadband Networking
With educational devices needing to be mobile, DCS works with and maintains a wide range of wireless infrastructure, including Ubiquiti UniFi and Ruckus. These are setup to best practice standards and can be customised to suit the need of the school.
Ruckus Big Dog Partner
DCS is a Registered Partner for Ruckus, the wireless platform preferred by the Ministry of Education. This gives us access to educational pricing and equipment. We ensure configuration is done to best practice and install upgrades to existing Ruckus including Zone Director software, additional aerials and placement designed for the best coverage.
DCS can also provide ongoing support.
Secure offsite cloud backups of your critical school data can be stored in our locally hosted cloud backup server. This is located in Mid Canterbury to ensure data is quickly accessible when required.
